NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the August 16th, 2024 Revised Council Agenda, be approved.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Meeting held on July 18, 2024, be approved.

MacLeod NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council receives the August 2024 CAO Report on Council Directions, as distributed.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council receives the Revised August 2024 Council Correspondence listing.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council for the Township of The Archipelago hereby approves the Noise Control By-law Application for Exemption for the property located at 17 Georgian Bay Water on August 24, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council for the Township of The Archipelago hereby approves the Noise Control By-law Application for Exemption for the property located at 5 Tamarack Drive on August 24, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

WHEREAS Banko Creative Studios was engaged to design and present new logo options for the Township; and WHEREAS Banko Creative Studios presented several logo options for consideration; and WHEREAS after careful review and consideration, Council has determined that Option B best represents the desired image and branding of the Township. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council hereby approves and adopts Option B as the official new logo of the Township as presented by Banko Creative Studios; and FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the Council directs staff to move forward with Phase 2 and Phase 3 of Banko’s proposed implementation plan and to present a 2025 budget for Phase 4.

WHEREAS Council for the Township of The Archipelago adopts the Community GHG Emissions Reduction Target of 6% below 2016 levels by 2030; and WHEREAS Council for the Township of The Archipelago will strive to achieve net-zero emissions in its community by 2050 or earlier. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED Council for the Township of The Archipelago hereby adopts the Community Climate Action Plan, as attached.

That By-law 2024-31, being a By-law to Appoint a Deputy Chief Building Official, be read and finally passed on the 16th day of August, 2024.

MacLeod That By-law A2112-24, being a By-law to amend By-law No. A2000-07 (the Comprehensive Zoning By-law) for a portion of Island 258A (Richards Island), being Parcel 17824 SEC NS; in front of the geographic Township of Harrison in the Georgian Bay, The Archipelago, (Smith), be read and finally passed on the 16th day of August, 2024.

That By-law A2113-24, being a By-law to amend Zoning By-law No. A2000-07 (the Comprehensive Zoning By-law) by removing the Holding ‘H’ Symbol from Part 11 on Plan PSR-1518, being Parcel 16141 SEC SS, located in Part of Lot 32, Concession 9, in the geographic Township of Shawanaga (Bremner), be read and finally passed on the 16th day of August, 2024.

That By-law A2112-24, being a By-law to amend By-law No. A2000-07 (the Comprehensive Zoning By-law) for a portion of Island 258A (Richards Island), being Parcel 17824 SEC NS; in front of the geographic Township of Harrison in the Georgian Bay, The Archipelago, (Smith), be read and finally passed on the 16th day of August, 2024.

That By-law 2024-23, being a By-law to designate Part 11 on Plan PSR- 1518, being Parcel 16141 SEC SS, located in Part of Lot 32, Concession 9, in the geographic Township of Shawanaga, as site plan control areas (Bremner), be read and finally passed on the 16th day of August, 2024.
