NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the September 16th, 2022 Revised Council Agenda, be approved.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on August 19th, 2022, be approved.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Meeting held on August 18th, 2022, be approved.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council move into a CLOSED MEETING at 9:21 a.m., pursuant to Section 239(2)(c) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25, as amended, to deal with a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council move out of a CLOSED MEETING at 9:31 a.m.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council receives the September CAO Report on Council Directions, as distributed.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council receives the September 2022 Council Correspondence listing.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council accepts the 2021 Consolidated Financial Statements prepared by BDO Canada LLP for the year ended December 31st, 2021.

WHEREAS that the Township of The Archipelago, Township of Carling, Municipality of McDougall, Township of McKellar, Township of Seguin, Town of Parry Sound and the Municipality of Whitestone adopted Terms of Reference to establish the West Parry Sound Joint Election Compliance Audit Committee; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council for the Township of The Archipelago hereby appoints the following to the West Parry Sound Joint Election Compliance Audit Committee for the 2022-2026 Term of Council, as recommended by the West Parry Sound Municipal Clerks/Returning Officers: Members: Larry Simons, Peter Spadzinski, and Judy Keown.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council approves the 2023 Council Meetings schedule.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council hereby approve the purchase of Tri-Axle Equipment Trailer in the amount of $60,680. Plus HST.

That By-law Number 2022-32, being a By-law to authorize the Chief Financial Officer to execute a Grant Contract between Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Corporation of the Township of The Archipelago for grant funding related to Resilient Communities Fund, be read and finally passed this 16th day of September, 2022.

That By-law Number 2022-33, being a By-law to authorize the Reeve and Clerk to execute a Term Loan Agreement between Jasmine Herlt and Doug Steiner and the Township of The Archipelago for loan of the Kawaatebiishing Sculpture and display on Township property, be read and finally passed this 16th day of September, 2022.

That By-law Number 2022-34, being a By-law to authorize the execution of a Lease Amending Agreement between SJB Construction Inc. and the Township of The Archipelago, be read and finally passed this 16th day of September, 2022.

That By-law Number 2022-35, being a By-law to Provide for the Payment of Remuneration to Members of Council, be read and finally passed this 16th day of September, 2022.

That By-law Number 2022-36, being a By-law to Confirm the Proceedings of the Regular Meeting of Council Held on September 16th, 2022, be read and finally passed this 16th day of September, 2022.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Regular Meeting of Council held on September 16, 2022 be adjourned at 10:38 a.m.
